Delete your codai account
You can delete your codai account and all data tied to it yourself, from the console, in under a minute. This page describes exactly what happens, for the codai Android app, the desktop app, the web console and the API.

In short
- Console → Settings → “Delete account” → type your e-mail (and password) → confirm.
- Deleted immediately: account, sign-in methods, API keys, devices, sessions and their events, shares, agent memory, subscription.
- Kept without your identity for at most 30 days: per-request usage records, audit entries and technical logs.
- Deleted data is gone from database backups within 8 days. No e-mail or support ticket needed; [email protected] if anything goes wrong.
01How to delete your account
- Sign in at https://codai.ro/console with the same account you use in the app (e-mail + password, Google, or passkey).
- Open Settings (left menu) and scroll to “Delete account”.
- Press “Delete my account…”, type your account e-mail exactly, enter your password if you have one, then press “Delete account permanently”.
- You are signed out everywhere and returned to this page with a confirmation. Uninstall the app whenever you like — it holds nothing that can reach your account any more.
Using the Android app only with an API key and no account? There is no account to delete: revoke the key in the console (Keys) or simply uninstall the app; the local database and settings are removed with it.
02What is deleted

03What is kept, and for how long

04Deleting only some data
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove data: sessions, devices and API keys can be deleted one by one from the console and from the apps, and “Use my data to improve codai” (off by default) can be switched off in Settings › Privacy (console) or Settings › About (Android). Training data already collected is deleted within 30 days after you switch it off.

If you cannot sign in, or something did not work, e-mail [email protected] from the address on the account. We verify ownership and delete the account manually within one month, as required by GDPR art. 17. The full policy is at https://codai.ro/privacy.
