# codai

> codai is an AI gateway and agent platform operated from Romania (EU-hosted). One public model name, `codai`, routes every request to the best available frontier model for the task, behind an OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API. Desktop (Windows), Android and web apps let the same model act on your devices.

- Public model name: `codai` (the only publicly addressable model)
- Base URL (OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible): https://ai.codai.ro/v1
- Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer <codai API key>`; keys are created at https://hub.codai.ro
- Data residency: Google Cloud europe-west1 (Belgium); GDPR; prompts are not used for training unless the user opts in
